How General Relativity Reappears Inside Light Cadence
Up to now, we’ve been developing Light Cadence directly, without stopping to show how the familiar equations of General Relativity fit inside it — and why GR’s formulas still work once cadence replaces “time” as the underlying structure.
This bridge post fills that gap.
It shows why GR still works, what changes underneath, and how Light Cadence reproduces Einstein’s curvature without copying Einstein’s picture of spacetime.
GR uses time as a coordinate.
Light Cadence uses cadence as the thing that creates time.
1 · GR and Light Cadence say the same thing differently
In GR, gravitational time dilation is written as:
Δτ = Δt × sqrt(1 − 2GM / (r c²))
In Light Cadence, the same effect appears as:
Δτ = (cadence beat) × (TS / TD ratio)
GR treats time as fundamental.
Light Cadence treats cadence as fundamental — time is what cadence counts.
Because cadence is primary:
• observers with different TS/TD disagree
• their optical arcs reconcile
• their clocks meet again exactly as GR predicts
Light Cadence doesn’t contradict GR — it reveals what GR was actually measuring through its time coordinate.
2 · GR’s “gravity vs expansion” becomes TS and TD
GR has two separate ingredients:
• inward gravitational curvature
• outward cosmic expansion
Light Cadence unifies them into one polarity:
• TD = inward cadence compression
• TS = outward cadence stretch
One beat. Two directions. All observed geometry.
GR’s formulas remain correct — but “spacetime metric” is no longer the cause.
Cadence is.
3 · GR’s one redshift becomes two physically different redshifts
GR uses one formula:
(1 + z) = λ_obs / λ_emit
Light Cadence exposes two processes that GR lumps together:
Mass-redshift (TD compression)
• cadence compresses
• clocks run slow
• structure leans toward light-range cadence
Stretch-redshift (TS dilation)
• cadence stretches
• distant clocks fall off your representable cadence
• structure shifts off your ledger
GR cannot distinguish these because GR has no TS/TD polarity.
Light Cadence makes the difference explicit:
TD redshift converts (mass-range → light-range collapse).
TS redshift excludes (mass-range → off-ledger).
That’s the whole distinction.
4 · GR’s horizons reappear — but as cadence thresholds
GR says horizons are surfaces where escape is impossible.
Light Cadence shows they are cadence floors:
• mass-trackable floor: cadence ≥ 1/c
• light-trackable floor: 1/c ≥ cadence ≥ 1/c²
• below-measure energy: cadence < 1/c² (off-ledger)
Mapping:
GR horizon = cadence threshold in disguise.
Nothing freezes or stops — your Light Frame simply stops being able to represent the cadence.

5 · GR’s E = mc² becomes the Cadence Mass Spectrum
GR uses the iconic equivalence:
E = m c²
Light Cadence reveals the underlying structure:
mass-range cadence ↔ light-range cadence ↔ below-measure cadence
This explains:
• why photons have potential mass but no measurable rest mass
• why mass is trackable only above the 1/c floor
• why light is trackable only above the 1/c² floor
• why “cadenceless” energy lies entirely beyond representation
GR sees the results.

6 · GR’s geodesics reappear as LFC paths
GR says:
Freely falling bodies follow spacetime geodesics.
Light Cadence says:
Freely falling bodies follow cadence trajectories determined by TS and TD — the Light-Frame Cadence path (LFC).
TS and TD form the legs of the Cadence Triangle.
LFC is the hypotenuse — the cadence analogue of a geodesic.
This reproduces:
• orbits
• lensing
• bending angles
• time dilation
• free fall
Exactly as GR predicts — but cadence is the reason.
7 · Nothing in GR breaks
Everything GR predicts remains true.
Only the interpretation changes.
Rewrite GR using cadence and you keep:
• Einstein’s field equations
• Schwarzschild geometry
• FRW cosmology
• gravitational waves
• light bending
• perihelion precession
• cosmological redshift
• CMB structure
Light Cadence is not an alternative to GR.
It is what GR was sampling the whole time.
This is why Light Cadence can extend GR without contradicting it:
• horizons without paradox
• drift unified with gravity
• galaxy rotation curves explained
• faint cosmic rotation derived
• mass-/light-/below-measure spectrum clarified
• Aletheia’s drive becomes compatible with physics
Everything remains intact.
But the foundations become clear.
